I just made lots of recent website updates. I am attempting to streamline the site and make the navigation bar less long, so don't worry, it looks like it is gone, but everything is still there! There is actually more information on the site as there are subheadings now. So some pages may not be fully edited yet but be patient..it is going to be much much better!
Now I'm off to a Christmas party. I just dug us out of the mountain of snow. I hope it stays! If we get enough does anyone want to come over to make snowmen? We can have Hot chocolate after!

Another Late Night

Wow this blog is getting dusty from neglect. I tried to get the other girls on here to no avail. I'm still holding out hope that they will join in, so there will be not just my 'voice' rambling on..and on..and on. : ) I decided to stay a bit late after teaching yoga to update the site..3 hours later I'm still here. I am trying to learn code to add an RSS feed to the site..LOL...maybe I'll figure that out over the holidays.

I have not seen it as it will not be made available to the public until after January 12th, so I will be seeing it for the first time with all of you. : )

Linda's First Day

Linda's first day is tomorrow! Yahoo! You can book with her on the Reiki page.

I think we need to have a riot to get the other girls posting on here...that way there is some variety in the posts and less of my crazy antics. Maybe if they do not post soon I will put crazy pictures of them on here to get them going.

I will start with this one of Linda. Not only is she fabulous at Reiki but she is a great friend and wonderful paint stripper..she kept me going last Fall after WEEKS of stripping paint and the front entranceway..what a job that was! But we had a blast. Have a great week everyone!

Becoming Nocturnal

I am up again late...really late...almost 2am. I have been updating the website. A wonderful Reiki Level 1 class today. I always feel a deep humility and honour after teaching a class. It is a good feeling to know that Reiki is being passed on and that people have been reconnected to their natural ability to heal. Our bodies are meant to be healthy. When they are balanced our immune system works as nature intended it to. It's not magic...it's science, and it is absolutely wonderful to witness someone elses empowerment.
I made an unwise choice of having a caffeinated tea earlier. Because I have been 'off' caffeine for quite some time I am still wide awake! But the site needed updates so it was just as well. This past week was such a whirlwind. I learned how to work with concrete, stripped lots of paint with a blow torch, put a new door up, did some sanding, in amongst seeing clients, teaching and being a mom to my 3 guys. I've decided I need a clone.
The universe brought me an absolute angel in the form of Joe who did wonderful magic on my walkway, and coached me through how to fix my porch. I was just telling my class today that ironically, everyone who has worked on this house has some affiliation with Reiki or healing. Joe's wife is Reiki practitioner. My plumber had Level 2. And yesterday as I was getting ready for class the painter was asking me about Astral travel! I love it! The synchronicity of it all. One day I will write the long story of how I ended up with this house...it is quite the story involving the previous owner following me around for 2 weeks(in spirit), and I the reluctant haunted one who argued with her over why this house was not for me. LOL. What did I know?
Well we are not meant to see our entire future...there is no fun in that.
As I move along on this journey I find myself not believing in miracles as much as I depend on them. They are such a natural part of life when we are in the flow of the universe.
Oh sure I have had moments where I try to do something my way to no avail. Allowing, allowing, allowing and surrendering is the way to go. God is not meant to be micro managed. Once you give it over, it's taken care of. We need to learn to Trust more.

New exciting things....

The first one being this blog. I hope I can keep it up in between Reiki, Soap, kids and lately concreting the front porch(the joys of renovating a 150 year old house) I am going to attempt to add colour to the porch tonight..wish me luck as it has been my first concrete experience..but I am loving it..it reminds me of working with clay. I hope to have it safe to walk on by Friday for all of you-thank you for your patience in using the garage entrance. : )

We have some new practitioners at Circle of Light: Shelia Mc Nally, Linda Brunton and Esther Bartkiw. You can read all about them on our About Us page on the website, we are very pleased and blessed to have this group of talented healers come on board.

Lots of new classes and events planned and more to come.

We are currently looking for a Bowen practitioner, Acupuncturist, and Homeopath. Please contact us if you are interested. The Amethyst biomat continues to be a hit and is having wonderful healing results for clients. Aura photo day dates coming soon : )
